McCartney and Shevell tie the knot

In perhaps one of the biggest stories in celebrity wedding news since the nuptials of Kim Kardashian this past summer, Paul McCartney decided the third time is the charm when he married his longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell.

According to People Magazine, McCartney and Shevell were married in London in a non-denominational ceremony. It proved to be a family affair, as McCartney's youngest daughter Beatrice served as the flower girl. Beatrice is McCartney's daughter with ex-wife Heather Mills.

Additionally, McCartney's daughter Stella, a world-renowned fashion designer, was in charge of outfitting much of the wedding party, including making a dress for Shevell, men's wedding attire for her father and outfits for all of the children.

The Daily Mail reports that the nuptials were definitely an A-list affair, as guests included such celebrities as Kate Moss, Ronnie Woof of the Rolling Stones, DJ Mark Ronson and Twiggy.

Still, there were some issues during the happy celebration, as neighbors to McCartney's home called the police with a noise complaint around 1:30 am, forcing Ronson to turn the music down.
